2015 and has been one that has been full of blessings. In 2019, I was named one of the 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography by Rangefinder Magazine. I was humbled to have one of my images grace the cover of their November issue magazine. Also that year, I was named 20 on the rise by Honey Book. In 2020 I was named one of the Top Wedding Photographers in the world by Harper's Bazaar and one of the Top Wedding Photographers in the United States by Brides Magazine. My work had been seen in Martha Stewart, Black Bride Magazine, HGTV and many more publications.

become dusty and shared for generations to come. My love for photography started with humble beginnings in high school. I found myself longing for a creative outlet and decided to pick up one of my fathers cameras. He was a hobbyist photographer so we always had cameras around the house. I didn't think much of it in my youth but while in undergrad at Tuskegee University I found myself longing to be behind the lens again. I would often take photos of the fraternity and sorority events and a few graduation photos here in there. My career as a wedding photographer officially started in 

my wonderful husband James (wont he do it! lol) and I still remember my wedding like it was yesterday. The day went by so fast it felt like a year and a half of our lives were gone in a blink of an eye. I just remember the joy and happiness I felt on that day. It was truly everything I wanted and prayed God for. Now you can find Jay and I chasing behind our two children Jamison and Janelle. I cherish those memories with my family and my friends so much. And I take a lot of pride in creating family heirlooms for my clients and their families. I really mean that my goal is for your great grandchildren to see my images. For them to be stored,

I often ask myself why I am a wedding photographer. I could be any type of photographer but why weddings? It's simple, I really believe in the power of love and the importance of family. My experience as a wedding photographer has allowed me to enter rooms with people I would not come across in my day-to-day life.  I've had the honor to learn about and document different religious ceremonies and cultures. It has opened my eyes to the fact that there's more that we all have in common than what truly separates us.  I often think about my own wedding and how much it meant to me. Next year will be my tenth wedding anniversary to

Family Time

Nothing is better than spending time with my little family! I'm very blessed to have a wonderful husband James and two beautiful children Janelle and Jamison! They are the reason I work so hard and I love spending time with them!

The Bahamas

I am very blessed to call the Bahamas my second home. My husband was born and raised on Grand Bahama Island so we get to visit often. I love the people the food the culture and we plan on retiring there one day!

Black and White Film

My favorite times to use black and white film is during the time the couple is getting ready. I find that is it the perfect way to capture emotions and to Allow the emotion of the moment to be the focal point of the image.
